Six-way talks restart after five-month break

BEIJING, Dec. 8 (Yonhap) -- A new round of six-way talks on North Korea's nuclear weapons program kicked off here on Monday, as negotiators said they will focus on how to verify Pyongyang's accounting of the program.

"The talks began at Diaoyutai (China's state guest house)," a South Korean
delegate told reporters. "Negotiators started talks immediately, without a
routine opening ceremony."
The other participating nations are the United States, Russia, and Japan. The
last round of talks was held in July.
