QUAKE HITS ACEH
Bandarlampung, Dec 8 (ANTARA) - A 5.2 magnitude earthquake hit Indonesia's westernmost province of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam on Monday morning, the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMG) said.
The epicenter of the quake which struck at 06.50 a.m. was in the sea about 197 km southwest of the provincial capital, Banda Aceh, at a depth of 20 km, the agency said in a report.
The temblor did not have the potential to cause a tsunami, it said.
