Najjar: 'Ittihad 87' war game demonstrates Iran's defense capabilities
Tehran, Dec 8, IRNA Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics Brigadier General
Mostafa Mohammad-Najjar said on Sunday that military war game dubbed
as 'Ittihad (unity) 87' truly demonstrated the high capabilities of
Iran's defense industries on the threshold of the 30th anniversary of
the victory of Iran's Islamic Revolution.
Speaking to reporters, he said that Iranian forces used many new and
modern military apparatus in the war game which all were designed and
produced by Iranian experts.
The war game put a seal of approval for independent navy industry, he said.
Strengthening Iran's navy forces is among the top priority of the
Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics, said the minister.
