Top nuke envoys from two Koreas set for pre-talk meeting
BEIJING, Dec. 7 (Yonhap) -- The chief nuclear negotiators from South and North Korea are scheduled to hold a meeting on Sunday before the six-way talks resume later in the day, Seoul's envoy said.
Kim Sook said his will use his first one-on-one meeting in five months with the
North's Kim Kye-gwan to deliver Seoul's position on envisioned verification
procedures, including the need for samples to be taken.
"I will deliver it in a clear tone," Kim told reporters. "The meeting will likely
take place at Diaoyutai (China's state guest house), but the time has not been
fixed yet."
He said the new round of six-way talks will open at 3 p.m. Beijing time.
