GOVERNOR DIRECTLY MONITORS CIVIL SERVANTS RECRUITMENT TEST
Semarang, Dec 7 (ANTARA) - Central Java Governor Bibit Waluyo and his Vice Governo Rustriningsih monitored directly the implementation of civil servant recruitment written test held spontaniously throughout the Central Java province on Sunday.
Some of the locations visited by the governor and vice governor were state high school SMAN1 in Semarang and the Educational Quality Guaranty Institution (LPMP) which accommodated applicants participating in the test.
According to him, the civil servant recruitment writtent test could run unhampered. The testees came to the locations already confirmed by the test organizing committee who had also worked well.
But some of the applicants registered to follow the rest were reported to have failed to show up during the test. Of 705 applicants registered to participate in the test, only 539 of them were present for the test.
"Practically at least 166 applicants fail to show up for the test without any clear information," the governor said, adding that perhaps their absence was due to other reasons.
In the meantime, the number of applicants participating in the test for the province throughout the whole districts and municipal cities with the exception of Sragen was recorded at 277,416 people.
The applicants who will pass the test will be placed at the office of Central Java administration for general formation and other 34 districts/municipal cities in the province.
