Iran`s envoy to UN condemns Israel`s criminal acts

Vienna, Dec 6, IRNA
Iran's representative at UN Human Rights Council, convened to survey
the global status of human rights routinely, here Thursday condemned
Israel's broad violations of human rights throughout its history.

Ali-Reza Mo'ayyeri referred to various cases of the Zionist regime's
violations of the human rights, and the international humanistic
norms, including those occurred in Golan, Lebanon, and Gaza.

Mo'ayyeri emphasized, "Iran believes the work group of the UN Human
Rights Council should adopt and effective and appropriate approach
aimed at surveying the systematic crimes committed by Israel
cessantly, since the matter is in need of special attention and a
strategic approach at international level."
Iran's representative referred to the rain of bullets over Beit Hanoun
refugee camp by Israeli forces, which was branded as a war crime by
the International Fact Finding Committee, as well as the barbarian and
inhumane siege of Gaza strip, as two newest samples of broad violation
of the human rights by that regime, that can also be called breaching
the international laws, or crimes against humanity.

He said that the root cause for those aggressive moves is the occupier
nature of that regime, emphasizing, "As long as the Palestinian lands
remain occupied, the world nations would be witness to the repeating
of such catastrophic events."
Iran's envoy at the UN committee ended his address asking the
international community and the alert conscience around the globe to
take practical steps aimed at ending occupation, aggression against,
and sever suppression of the Palestinian nation's rights,
particularly in Gaza.
