AZERBAIJAN-GEORGIA INTERGOVERNMENTAL ECONOMIC COMMISSION GATHERS IN TBILISI

Baku, 04 December,(AzerTAj)The 5th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Georgia
intergovernmental commission on economy was held in Tbilisi on Thursday.

A large delegation of Azerbaijan led by Prime Minister Artur Rasizade attended the
event.
The meeting started with one-on-one talks of the Azerbaijani and Georgia premiers,
who then were joined by the two countries` delegations.
Georgian Prime Minister Grigol Mgalobilishvili highly parsed the level of bilateral
relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan.
Artur Rasizade said he believes both countries will further strengthen efforts to
develop their bilateral cooperation.
The meeting then continued behind close doors.
At a joint news conference following the meeting, the Georgian prime minister said
“today we have discussed a wide range of bilateral issues and prospects for their
development.”
The Azerbaijani Premier said the document adopted at the meeting “contains many
proposals on how to develop our relations.”
The premiers` address to the media followed by a question-answer session with
journalists.
Later the same day, the Azerbaijani delegation laid a wreath at the bust to
nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev in Tbilisi.
