National strategy for child protection to be issued next year, says

SANA'A, Dec. 04 (Saba)-Minister of Social Affairs and labor Amt
al-Razaq Homaid said that the national strategy for child protection
will be issued by next year.

The minister said that the aim of the strategy is to protect
children and coordinate official and popular efforts in this regard,
affirming concern of the government to offer production for children.

She pointed out to the agreements that Yemen has signed in field of
children especially agreements related to street children and
combating child labor.

The minister also affirmed important role of the civil society
organizations to support efforts of the state to provide protection
for children.
