AZERBAIJAN RECORDS STRONGEST GDP GROWTH IN CIS
Baku, 04 December,(AzerTAj)Azerbaijan`s Gross Domestic Product grew 12.7 percent in
the ten months of 2008 putting the country ahead of other countries of the
Commonwealth of Independent States, CIS Statistical Committee`s report said.
Belarus is second with 10.7 percent growth, while Armenia is third with 9.2 percent,
according to official figures.
Azerbaijan also claimed the third fastest growing industrial output of 8.4 percent,
behind Kyrgyzstan (12.1 percent) and Belarus (12.8 percent), the report said.
