WB allocates $ 25mln to rehabilitate roads in Hadramout and

SANA'A, Dec. 03 (Saba)-The World Bank WB has allocated 25 million as
contribution to rehabilitate roads, which have been destroyed due
to flood that hit Hadramout and al-Maharah governorates last
October, Deputy resident representative of the bank in Yemen Naji
Abu Hatim said.

During his meeting with the Minister of Public Works and Roads Amr
al-Korshomi , the WB official highlighted achievements of Yemen in
field of public works and roads.

He confirmed the WB continuing support for the development process
in Yemen.

Al-Korshomi praised the WB support for the projects of
infrastructure in Yemen, affirming concern of Yemen to enhance its
ties with the World Bank.

In the meeting, the minister discussed with the WB official results
of the filed visits done by a joint team from the ministry and the
bank to the two governorates.
