Yemen, Jordan discuss agricultural investment opportunities
DHAMAR, Dec. 02 (Saba) - Yemen and Jordan held Tuesday talks on the
current arrangement to implement the signed agreement between the
two countries in the domain of agricultural cooperation to realize
agricultural development.
General Secretary of Dhamar Local Council Mogahd al-Ansi discussed
with Chairman of the Jordanian Cooperative Institution Abdul-Majeed
al-Ajarmah ways of developing the agriculture exports, agricultural
rehabilitation and livestock.
During the meeting, al-Ansi affirmed the importance of the
commercial exchange between the two countries, particularly in
agricultural products and activating the partnership to realize Arab
agricultural integration and reviewed the available agricultural
investment opportunities in Dhamar province.
He pointed out willingness of province's leadership to provide
necessary facilities to the Jordanian side for implementation of
agricultural projects.
For his part, the Jordanian official pointed out that this visits
came for acquaintance with the Yemeni experiences of the
agricultural sector and to discuss areas for agricultural
investment.
He affirmed the importance of developing agricultural coordination
between the two countries to upgrade agricultural production.
