AZERBAIJAN`S MINISTER OF JUSTICE MEETS GERMAN AMBASSADOR
Baku, 01 December,(AzerTAj)Azerbaijan`s Minister of Justice, Chairman of the Judicial Council Fikrat Mammadov met with German Ambassador to Azerbaijan Per Christofer Stanchina.
Mr. Mammadov stressed the rapid development of the friendly relations between the
two countries, including legal area. He hailed active participation of German
specialists in implementation of the country`s judicial reforms.
Mr. Stanchina underlined that the government of Germany attaches high significance
to all-round cooperation with Azerbaijan. Ambassador noted that German Technical
Cooperation (GTZ) has being implemented various projects to support judicial reforms
in the country since 1998.
The sides also discussed agreement on cooperation between the two countries` Justice
Ministries, which is to be signed during the German Justice Minister`s visit to
Azerbaijan, early 2009.
