KPK PREPARES SPECIAL UNIFORM FOR CORRUPTION DETAINEES
Jakarta, Dec 1 (ANTARA) - The Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has prepared a special uniform for detainees suspected of corruption cases handled by the commission.
KPK chief Antasari Azhar said here on Monday the decision to that effect was made in September 2008.
He said KPK had told chiefs of detention centers for alleged corruptors to make the uniforms.
Antasari said each detainee would get one uniform which he/she must wear. "The uniform to be worn during trial is yet to be designed," he said.
KPK deputy chief M Jasin meanwhile said the concept and design of the uniform had been completed. The blue uniform has yellow stripes on its sleeves with "Tahanan KPK" (KPK detainee) written on its back.
