FOREIGN GUESTS PRAISED KARABAKH’S CARPETS
Baku, 01 December,(AzerTAj)Foreign guests who are in Azerbaijan to mark the 80th birthday of outstanding Azerbaijani Artist Tahir Salahov visited the Baku Nobel Heritage Fund.
The delegation including French fashion designer Pierre Cardin and
President of the Russian Academy of Fine Arts Zurab Tsereteli was informed about the
house where Nobel brothers used to live.
President of the Fund Togrul Bagirov briefed guests on the historical residence of
Nobel brothers, who have founded oil giant “Branobel”. The building was constructed
by Nobel brothers in 1884 and for now is occupied by Nobel Heritage Fund, according
to Togrul Bagirov. Members of foreign delegation were pleased to accept gifts on
behalf of the Fund, including curious Karabakh’s carpet, which aroused great
interest among the guests.
