GM Daewoo auto sales slip 28.8 pct in November

SEOUL, Dec. 1 (Yonhap) -- The South Korean unit of troubled U.S. auto giant
General Motors Corp. said Monday its November auto sales fell 28.8 percent from a
year earlier amid decreased demand.
GM Daewoo Auto & Technology Co. sold a total of 62,256 vehicles last month,
compared with 87,391 units sold for the same period last year, the company said
in a statement.
Domestic sales plunged 56.9 percent to 4,537 units and exports fell 24.9 percent
to 57,719 units, according to the statement.
In the first 11 months of this year, GM Daewoo's sales fell 3.2 percent to
841,521 units.
