UAE leaders receive greetings on national day
Abu Dhabi, Dec 1, 2008 (WAM) - President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received cables of congratulations from Arab, Muslim and foreign leaders on the occasion of the 37th national day of the UAE.
The cables were from presidents of Algeria, Libya, Indonesia, USA, Russia, China, Gambia, Korea, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Czech, Ireland, India, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
Secretary General of Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu has also congratulated the UAE leader.
Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai H. H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has also received greetings on the national day from heads of state of Gambia, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
Prime ministers of Indonesia, China, Sri Lanka and Czech have also cabled greetings to Sheikh Mohammed.
