President: Opponents of Islam do not want powerful, progressive

Tehran, Nov 30, IRNA President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said opponents of Islam do not want
powerful and progressive Islamic countries and underlined the
necessity of resistance against greed of the enemies of Islam.

According to the report of Presidential Office website on Saturday,
President Ahmadinejad in a meeting with his Sudanese counterpart
President Omar al-Bashir on the sidelines of the UN Conference on
Financing for Development in Doha said, "In fighting against cruelty
those are winners who keep patient and resist for God,"
He added, "Signs of divine victory are emerging and the arrogant
powers are falling in different economic, political and even military
fields."
He also exchanged views with his Sudanese counterpart on bilateral
ties and Islamic world issues.

President al-Bashir expressed pleasure with the increasing trend of
cooperation between the two countries and called strengthening of
relations with Iran as a necessity for his country.

He continued, "It seems that the world has forgotten important issues
like Palestine, Afghanistan and Somalia and that we should admire
Iran's stances in defending other nations rights."
