President: Iran ready to expand ties with African states

Tehran, Nov 30, IRNA President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in Doha on Saturday that Iran is
ready to expand ties with all African countries, Muslim states in
particular, on the basis of justice.

Speaking to his Comoros counterpart Ahmed Abdallah Sambi on the
sidelines of the four-day UN-sponsored International Conference on
Financing for Development, Ahmadinejad said any move by the Comorans
for development and progress will make Iran happy and honored.

Sambi in return urged further expansion of relations with Iran and
said Comorans are interested in Iran and are willing to upgrade
relations with the country.
