Premier acquaints Chinese delegation with designs of great library

SANA'A, Nov. 29 (Saba)- Prime Minister Ali Mujawar acquainted
Chinese cultural delegation with final designs of the Great Library
Project to be constructed by Chinese expertise in the capital Sana'a
with total cost ranging from $ 30-40 million.

In his meeting held with the delegation on Saturday, Mujawar
highlighted Chinese support to this cultural project the Chinese
would start construction mid of 2009 and would be a new outstanding
facility of Yemeni-Chinese historical relations.

For his part, the head of the delegation affirmed his country's
government keenness on developing mutual relations, indicating that
the project is included in the great projects funded by the
government as donation to Yemen.

He clarified the project, which would be constructed on the area
estimated at 96 000 square kilo meters, includes different halls to
theater and cinema, libraries to children and to disabled people,
electron library, halls for holding book shows and other annexes,
affirming that the project would be completed within two years.
