International Conference for Ancient Studies launched
Dubai, Nov 30, 2008 (WAM) - The International Conference for Ancient Studies was launched yesterday in Dubai under the patronage of H.H Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Dubai Event Management Corporation.
Eight of the world's foremost experts in the fields of History, Archaeology, Astronomy, Astrophysics, Anthropology and Geology gathered at the event to reveal significant discoveries about the life and history of the World.
Held for the first time in the Middle East, the conference revolves around the topic of The Mysteries of Ancient Civilisations. It will be held in Dubai's tallest pyramid, the Raffles Dubai, a luxury hotel appropriately chosen for the occasion.
Some of the speakers are expected to make significant announcements during the conference about major discoveries made in 2007 and 2008 in Egypt and South America respectively which could literally require a re-write of history. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
