Ministry of technical education and JICA sign cooperation agreement

SANA'A, Nov. 29 (Saba)- Ministry of Technical Education and
Vocational Training and Japanese International Cooperation Agency
JICA signed on Saturday a cooperation agreement for carrying out a
project of improving the vocational training sector in Yemen.

Under the agreement, the project would focus on improving level of
the vocational training in field maintenance of cars at Dhahban
Industrial Institute in Sana'a city.

The agreement was signed by the deputy minister of technical
education and vocational training Alawi BaFaqih and the JICA
representative to Yemen.

Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Ibrahim Hajari
praised support of the Japanese agency for supporting quality of the
technical education in Yemen.

For his part, the Japanese ambassador to Yemen Masakazu Toshikage
said that the project is first done by the Japanese agency in field
of technical education in Yemen, calling on all for gathering
efforts to bring the project into success.
