King`s interview with Kuwaiti newspaper `Al-Siyassah`

Jeddah/Kuwait, November 29, SPA-- The Custodian of the Two Holy
Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has affirmed that the
economy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is excellent and that Saudi
'sovereign' funds are safe in the global economic crisis.

The King emphasized that the Saudi economy is solid and strong and
that the five-year development plan will be administered as planned,
calling on the people of the Kingdom to be assured and aware of that,
and stressing that they will not suffer any losses.

The King said, "The visual and audio international media everywhere
in the world have created a fearful atmosphere, as if what is
happening in America can happen in Riyadh, Jeddah or any of the
cities of the Kingdom. People facing this abundance of information do
not know whom they should believe. We assure the people based on the
facts that we know and aware of."

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques sees that there is a
disagreement and a conflict on the issue of dialogue between
different religions. "As such, I did call for mutual relations
through closer visions that bring people together as everyone wants
peace, stability, security and safety."

The King gave an interview to Kuwaiti newspaper 'Al-Siyassah' which
was conducted by its Editor-in-Chief Ahmed Al-Jarallah and published
today.
