MoW receives delegation from Saudi Transportation Ministry

Manama, May. 21. (BNA) -- The Ministry of Works (MoW) received a delegation from the Saudi Ministry of Transportation; consisting of Materials & Researches General Manager Eng. Mohammed bin Shafiq A’adham, the General Manager of Maintenance Eng. Mohammed Abdulla Al Shehri, the Sciences & Technology Consultant Eng. Yousif Gado, Advisor to the Minister Dr. Abdulla Ebrahim Al Mansoor and a number of engineers. Present from the Ministry were the Roads Assistant Undersecretary Eng. Huda Fakhro, the Assistant Undersecretary for Technical Affairs Eng. Ahmed Al Khayyat and a number of directors and engineers from the Ministry. A meeting was also held on the sidelines of the visit, during which Eng. Huda Fakhro shed light on the roads sector; represented by both the Roads Planning & Design Directorate and the Roads Projects & Maintenance Directorate. The presentation also focused on the North Manama Causeway Project and Mina Salman Interchange Project. The delegation was taken on a tour to both projects and a number of other roads projects. The Saudi delegation commended the efforts extended by the Ministry of Works in the field of infrastructure and the development achieved in in strategic projects. W H Q
