All Makkah-based holy mosque's doors remain open around the

Makkah, November 28, SPA -- All Makkah-based holy mosque's 150 doors
will remain open around the clock with 400 duty personnel helping
pilgrims to easily find their way in and out, it was reported here
today.

Director of the holy mosque's doors Ahmed bin Ameen Abbas said some
doors were equipped with guiding boards shining in green when there
is possibility to enter and in red when there is no room through the
door.

He added that the holy Haram was also equipped with seven electric
elevators leading to the first floor of the mosque and two lifts
allocated for disabled pilgrims, Umrah worshippers and visitors.

Gatemen are authorized to bar the entrance with embargoed items,
including items believed detrimental to others, excess luggage, and
all kinds of bags, he said, urging pilgrims to show cooperation with
gatemen and adhere to instructions issued for their own comfort.
