Visiting Shoura Council Chairman meets with Saudi students in

Melbourne, November 28, SPA -- Chairman of the Saudi Shoura Council
Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Homaid met at his guest residence in the
Australian city of Melbourne with Saudi students on scholarships in
Australia.

The Saudi ambassador to Australia talaat bin Hasan Nazer was present
in the meeting.

Addressing the gathering, bin Homaid advised the students to adhere
to Islamic teachings to reflect a good profile about the Saudi
people.

Later, bin Homaid visited the Islamic Center in Melbourne and was
briefed on the services rendered by the facility to the Islamic
community in the city.

On the other hand, the Shoura Council chief met at his residence in
Melbourne with Australia's Mufti Sheikh Fahmi Al-Imam who briefed him
on the activities practiced in the center.

For his part, bin Homaid called on the Islamic societies in Australia
to further spread the correct Islamic culture among Muslims, urging
for becoming good examples among the Australian people.

The meeting was attended by bin Homaid's accompanying delegation and
Saudi diplomats based in Australia.
