PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV MEETS SPEAKER OF TURKMENISTAN`S MAJLIS AKJA NURBERDIYEVA

Baku, 28 November,(AzerTAj)On November 28, Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev visited Turkmenistan`s Parliament, the Majlis.

Here, the President was warmly welcomed by Speaker Akja Nurberdiyeva.
The Azerbaijani leader first viewed the parliament`s session hall.
Then, President Ilham Aliyev and Turkmen Speaker Akja Nurberdiyeva had a meeting.
They stressed Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan relations are developing in all areas.
The importance of the Azerbaijani leader`s current trip in terms of expanding the
bilateral relations was also noted during the conversation.
The President of Azerbaijan and Turkmen Speaker expressed confidence the two
countries` interparliamentary cooperation will further enhance.
They stressed the two people`s common history and cultural roots contribute to
developing Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan relations.
Azerbaijan`s President was informed about the Turkmen parliament`s work.
