Saudi ambassador to South Africa meets with Indian envoy in South Africa

Pretoria, November 28, SPA -- Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to South
Africa Mohammed in Mahmoud Al-Ali met here today with the Higher
Commissioner for the Republic of India to South Africa Rajev Patia.

During the meeting, the Saudi ambassador expressed condolences to the
Indian official on the victims of the terrorist attack in Mumbai,
wishing the Indian people every security and stability.

He also confirmed the Kingdom's condemnation of the recent terrorist
incidents in India, confirming the Kingdom's firm position calling
for tolerance and spread of peace culture among the peoples of the
world.

He said "This is the vision sought by the Custodian of the Two Holy
Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud through his initiative
for dialogue among followers of religions".

For his part, the Indian official lauded the pioneering role of the
Kingdom at the international and regional arenas and its endeavors
exerted to achieve world security and stability.
