Saleh, Zenawi assert significance of int'l move to end piracy
SANA'A, Nov. 28 (Saba) - President Ali Abdullah Saleh and Ethiopian
Prime Minister Meles Zenawi emphasized here on Friday the
significance of an international move to put an end for the piracy
acts in the international waters of Aden Gulf and Arab Sea.
Saleh and Zenawi exchanged views on developments in the African
Horn, particularly the situation in Somalia and the possible means
to bring peace, security and stability into Somalia.
The meeting also discussed the current arrangements to hold the
meeting of Sana'a Coalition, scheduled to be convened in the
Sudanese capital, Khartoum, late next September, in addition to
several issues of common interests
Moreover, Saleh and Zenawi dealt with the cooperation relations
between the two countries, accenting the joint keenness on advancing
them forward.
After concluding the meeting, the farewell ceremonies have been
conducted in the republican Palace to Yemen's guest the Ethiopian
Premier Meles Zenawi, who departed Sana'a after a two-day state
visit to Yemen.
