GOVERNMENT OF AZERBAIJAN AND WB SIGN AGREEMENT ON DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL PROTECTION AREA
Baku, 28 November,(AzerTAj)Azerbaijan`s Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Fizuli Alakbarov and the World Bank Country Manager for Azerbaijan Mr. Gregory Jedrzejczak signed credit agreement on development of the social protection area, on November 28.
Total amount of the project is US $ 54,6 mln, of which 26,7 mln falls to the share
of World Bank, while the remaining 27,9 mln to the government of Azerbaijan.
Aim of the project is to modernize the labor market, strengthen activity of the
structures of social protection, improve social services for children, youth, women
and invalids and other ones.
