AZERBAIJANI NATIONAL TEAM DEFEATS ITALY IN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING
Baku, 28 November,(AzerTAj)Azerbaijani national women’s handball team participates in the world championship qualifying in Pljevlja, Montenegro. National team defeated Bulgaria in the first match and Italy in the second match.
Results of other matches of the group, where Azerbaijani combined team plays are as
follows: Montenegro – Finland 37:24, Slovenia – Bulgaria 31:20.
Azerbaijani combined team heads fixture list with four points after two rounds.
Azerbaijani national team will have the next match against Finland, Montenegro,
Slovenia on November 28, 29 and 30 respectively.
According to the regulations, only one team will be qualified for the play-off stage
of the world championship.
