ASTANA HOSTING 1st CONGRESS OF UNION OF AZERBAIJANI CULTURAL CENTERS

Baku, 28 November,(AzerTAj)The 1st Congress of the Union of Azerbaijani Cultural
Centers commenced Thursday in the Kazakhstan`s capital Astana, AzerTAc`s country
based correspondent reported.
President of the Association of Kazakhstan Azerbaijanis Vidadi Salakhov noted: “Huge
work is being done to keep friendship of peoples living in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijanis
are also making their contribution to this policy”.
Salahov underlined that 250-300 thousand Azerbaijanis are living in Kazakhstan,
adding Azerbaijani Diaspora is the sixth largest in Kazakhstan.
