Prince Turki bin Sultan makes statement

Riyadh, November 28 , SPA -- Prince Turki bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz,
Assistant Minister of Culture and Information, has stated that the
Ministry of Culture and Information is ready to cover this year's
Hajj.

In a statement to Saudi Press Agency, he said that under directives
by Minister of Culture and Information Iyad bin Amin Madani, the
ministry has adopted a comprehensive plan for the media coverage of
Hajj at the local and international levels.

He added that in line with its annual custom, the ministry will host
a large number of media people and intellectuals to perform Hajj.

He explained that the ministry established comprehensive media
centers in Jeddah, Makkah, Mina, Arafat and Madinah.

He pointed out that the ministry's efforts in this field are in line
with directives by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah
bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier,
Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General.
