Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd and Head of Italian Olympic

Rome, November 27, SPA -- Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin
Abdulaziz, Deputy President of Youth Welfare of the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia and leader of the Saudi delegation to talks with the Italian
side, had a meeting here today with Dr. Giovanni Betroth, President
of the Italian Olympic Committee.

During the meeting, which was attended by the two sides' official
delegations, Prince Nawaf and Dr. Giovanni signed a memorandum of
cooperation between the Saudi and Italian sides.

For his part, Prince Nawaf thanked the Italian side for the warm
welcome and generous hospitality accorded to him and the accompanying
delegation, noting that the meeting discussed the general framework
of the joint cooperation with the Italian Olympic Committee.

Following the signing ceremony, Prince Nawaf bin Faisal gave an
account on the contents of the memorandum, which, he said, covers
cooperation in a number of areas including anti-doping, exchange of
expertise in the fields of sports and marketing investment, training
and sports medicine.

In the name of Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, the President of
Youth Welfare, Prince Nawaf extended an invitation to Dr. Giovanni to
visit the Kingdom.

The meeting was attended by a number of officials from the two sides.
