AZERBAIJAN FM MEETS LIBYAN DEPUTY FM

Baku, 27 November, (Azer TAc)Azerbaijan Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar
Mammadyarov met Thursday with Libyan Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Al
Barrani, press service of the Azerbaijani Ministry reported.

The sides discussed results of the 1st meeting of Libya-Azerbaijan intergovernmental
commission held in Baku, and highlighted the role of the signed protocol in
developing bilateral relations.
They stressed the existing agreements and legal documents between Azerbaijan and
Libya lay groundwork for strengthening bilateral relations.
The Libyan official noted his country would continue to support Azerbaijan`s
position on the conflict with Armenia over Nagorno-Karabakh during the voting at the
UN General Assembly.
Mammadyarov thanked Mohammad Al Barrani for his country`s supporting Azerbaijan.
