BDF Chief of Staff attends conclusion of joint mobilisation drill

Manama, May 4 (BNA)-- BDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa attended today, alongside Royal Guard Commander Colonel Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Royal Guard Force Commander Major Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the conclusion of the joint mobilisation drill of the Royal Guard Combat Group in Al-Nouairiya, Saudi Arabia. The BDF Chief of Staff and the audience listened to a briefing on the Combat Group external camp training programme which included the caravan's route from Bahrain to Faisal Shooting Field in Saudi Arabia. Then, they watched field demonstrations of all war phases as well as defence and attack operations with live ammunition. Participants in the joint mobilisation exercise displayed high competence and professionalism which reflects the Royal Guard Combat Group readiness and the great support and care accorded by BDF to internal and external training programmes. The BDF Chief of Staff lauded the military readiness and high combat performance of the participants, paying tribute to the leadership and BDF Commander-in-Chief for their support and follow-up. The conclusion of the mobilisation exercise was also attended by BDF Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations Major General Dhiab Saqr Al Nuaimi, Military Training Director Brigadier Salah Rashid Al-Sa'ad and senior officers.
