RC condemns Israel's desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque

Manama, April 29 (BNA)-- The Representatives Council expressed today its categorical rejection and strong condemnation of the Israeli desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque and attempt to transfer its administrative sovereignty to Israel. In a statement issued today, the council also denounced Israel's judaisation of Islamic sanctities and the discriminatory practices of the so-called extremist Temple Groups. It condemned the closure of Jerusalem and the doors of Al-Aqsa Mosque in front of Palestinian worshippers. The council warned of the repercussions of violating the identity of Al-Aqsa Mosque in this unprecedented criminal way in an attempt to impose the Jewish administrative sovereignty on it. "This is by all means a humanitarian catastrophe resulting from Arab, Islamic and international silence regarding the Jewish transgressions which have gone beyond all limits and laws." The Representatives Council demanded the international community, human rights organisations, international and Asian parliamentary councils, Arab and Islamic countries, the Organisation of Islamic Conference and the Arab League to act swiftly to stop violations against Al-Aqsa Mosque. It also called on the European countries, the USA and all the world to assume their responsibilities in carrying out the resolutions of the United Nations and put an end to the Israeli violations.
