Police bust human trafficking rings
HCM City (VNA) - Police said they had smashed 235 women and child trafficking rings around the country and arrested 654 suspected traffickers so far this year.
In their most recent campaign, the police uncovered 98 cases of trafficking,
rescuing 176 victims and nabbing 188 traffickers.
They have also been helping victims return to their communities.
The police said traffickers were getting increasingly sophisticated, using various
ruses like marriage, adoption, and tourism to cover up their crime.-Enditem
