Ban Ki-Moon congratulates UAE on national day
New York, Nov 27, 2008 (WAM) - The UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-Moon, expressed yesterday his warm congratulations to the UAE on its 37th national day.
The UN chief passed his greetings to the leader, government and people of the UAE during a reception hosted by H.E. Ambassador Ahmed A. Al-Jarman, the Permanent Representative of the United Arab Emirates to the United Nations, to mark the occasion. Ki-Moon wished the UAE more progress and prosperity.
The function was attended by senior aides to the UN Secretary General, and a number of ambassadors of Arab, Muslim and foreign countries to the UN, businessmen, and media representatives.
