ESCA signals approval for postponement of margin trading system

Abu Dhabi, Nov 27, 2008 (WAM) - The Emirates Securities and Commodities Authority (ESCA) today said it had no objection to delaying implementation of the margin trading system to the next year. In a statement released this evening, ESCA said the move was in response to requests by brokerage companies to grant them more time to ensure their technical readiness for the new system.
