Arab League urged to speed up setting up Arab Human Rights Court

Cairo, Apr. 22. (BNA) – The Bahraini parliamentary delegation to the Arab Parliament (AP)'s meeting today called for the need to recommend the Arab League to speed up the establishment of the Arab Court of Human Rights, proposed by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Speaking during the closing session of the AP Shaikh Al-Ma'awda inquired about the latest developments regarding the establishment of the Arab Court of Human Rights and highlighted the importance of requesting the Arab League to expedite the implementation of HM the King's initiative. The delegation comprises the First Deputy Speaker of the Representatives Council MP Shaikh Adel Al-Ma'awda, the Second Deputy Chairperson of the Shura Council MP Dr. Bahiya Al-Jishi and MP Adel Al-Asoomi, who are AP members.
