Commander-in-Chief meets British military delegation

Manama, Apr. 21. (BNA)-- Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa met here today the British Minister of State for the Armed Forces Mark Francois and his accompanying delegation, currently on a visit to Bahrain. The Commander in Chief welcomed the Minister and the accompanying delegation, and praised the solid deep-rooted bilateral friendly ties and the advanced level of joint cooperation in various fields, especially regarding the exchange of military expertise. He affirmed the keenness on further expanding the steadily-growing bilateral military cooperation and coordination so as to enhance joint action. The Minister was briefed about the BDF's establishment stages, various military units and how it has developed during the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander.
