British Armed Forces State Minister visits Military Museum

Manama, Apr. 21. (BNA) -- British Minister of State for the Armed Forces Mark Francois and his accompanying delegation today paid a visit to the Military Museum of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF). He was informed about the displayed paintings and photos which record the Kingdom's military history and the BDF's development stages since its establishment in the 1960s. He toured the Bahrain Rulers' Hall, and was informed about its collectibles. He also toured the historical towers, historical documents, Genuine Arabian Horses, old individual weapons, and the land, air and navy forces halls. The British Minister of State also visited the rooms including military uniforms and medals, as well as the room recording BDF's participation in noble missions, including the Liberation of Kuwait war.
