DPR, GOVT TO DISCUSS FERTILIZER SHORTAGES
Jakarta, Nov. 26 (ANTARA) - The House of Representatives (DPR) and the government were scheduled to hold a joint working meeting at the Parliament building here on Wednesday to discuss fertilizer shortages in several regions.
The meeting was to be held in the afternoon and expected to be attended by members of the DPR's commissions II (administration), III (legal and security affairs), IV (agriculture and fishery), and VI (state companies) and the State Budget Committee.
The DPR had invited Agriculture Minister Anton Apriyantono, Trade Minister Marie Pangestu, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani, Home Affairs Minister Mardiyanto, State Enterprises Minister Sofyan Djalil, and National Police Chief General Bambang Hendarso Danuri to the meeting to be led by House Speaker Agung Laksono.
