UAE Foreign Minister attends preparatory meeting for upcoming GCC summit

Abu Dhabi, Nov 26, 2008 (WAM) - UAE Foreign Minister H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan took part yesterday at the 109th meeting of the GCC ministerial council for hammering agenda of the 29th summit of GCC leaders scheduled to be held in Muscat from December 29 - 30.

The meeting will review latest political developments in the region including the occupation of the UAE three islands by Iran, GCC relations with Iran, the situation in Iraq, Palestine, Lebanon, Sudan and Somalia.

Other regional and international issues of interest will also be covered.
