Deputy Premier receives Iraqi Ambassador

Manama, Apr14(BNA) Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa received today newly-appointed Iraqi Ambassador to Bahrain Dr. Ahmed Nayef Rasheed Al-Dulaimi. Shaikh Khalid congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in performing his new duties. The Iraqi diplomat hailed Bahrain's human rights strides, commending the Government for providing quality services to citizens in various fields. He stressed the importance of exchanging visits between the two brotherly countries' officials, in addition to activating joint committees. The two sides stressed the need for security and stability to prevail in the region for all Arab countries to achieve all that their peoples aspire to. A H N
