USAID APPROVES $4m TO AZERBAIJAN NATIONAL BANK
Baku, 25 November,(AzerTAj)The United States Agency for International Development,
USAID, has approved a $4m-assistance to the Azerbaijan National Bank within its
Financial Sector Stability Program.
The Memorandum of Understanding on joint funding agreement was signed Tuesday by
Chairman of the National Bank`s Executive Board Elman Rustamov and USAID
Administrator and Director of United States Foreign Assistance Henrietta Fore.
The funds will help the bank strengthen its risk control system, improve management
of human resources, and develop information technologies.
Some $750.000 of the $4.75m project will be allocated by the National Bank
