Sudan lauds Saudi aid

Khartoum, November 25, SPA -- A Sudanese senior official today lauded
the continuous Saudi aid to Sudan.

General Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid in Sudan Hasabo Mohammed
Abdulrahman lauded the assistance extended by the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia to his country.

In a statement during a reception for a delegation of the Saudi
Ministry of Finance, led by Fahd Al-Otaibi, Abdulrahman said the
grant worth $50 million of the Kingdom for Sudan Food Program was
not the first.

He cited last year's grant of $20 million and another similar amount
for Darfur Rehabilitation Conference.

For his part, Al-Otaibi confirmed the firmness and strength of
relations between the Kingdom and The Sudan.

The Kingdom spares no effort to help the needy anywhere, he said.
