Maritime mine detector found

Manama, Apr. 9. (BNA) -- Coast Guard Commander stated today that a maritime mine detector was found yesterday at the west coast of Bahrain. He said that the maritime device, which was swept ashore, is used for detecting and defusing of marine mines and belongs to the US Navy forces in the region. He called upon seafarers to report such objects and not come close to them whenever they come across them for their safety. WHQ
