Bahrain participates in London International Book Fair

London, Apr9(BNA)The Ministry of Culture is taking part in the 43rd edition of the London Book Fair, which opened last Monday at Earls Court and will conclude tomorrow –Thursday. The Bahraini pavilion showcases a collection of local books and publications which update visitors on the Kingdom's cultural and tourism features. The ministry is taking part in the prominent exhibition, deemed one of the biggest in the world, in a bid to project Bahraini culture and inform the public about the Kingdom's achievements. Bahrain's participation in this global intellectual and cultural platform coincides with the celebration of Manama as Capital of Asian Tourism 2014. More than 1,500 publishers from all over the world are taking part in the fair which lined up 220 forums and meetings addressing a wide range of key publishing issues. A H N
