Foreign Minister meets Amr Moussa

Cairo, April 9 (BNA)-- Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa met in Cairo today Egyptian Head of the Constitution Amendment Committee Amr Moussa. He conveyed to him the greetings of Bahrain leadership and best wishes of continuous success. The Foreign Minister also conveyed the leadership's appreciation of the relentless efforts exerted by Moussa in chairing the committee in charge of drafting Egypt's new constitution which is considered as a promising step on the path of reform and development so as to meet the aspirations of the Egyptian people for a brighter and more prosperous future. He also voiced Bahrain's pride in historic and solid bilateral relations, reiterating Bahrain's unwavering support to Egypt and the Egyptian people in achieving their aspirations. He wished Egypt success in the next presidential elections in order to continue assuming its pioneering role in leading pan-Arab work and defending Arab issues. On his part, Amr Moussa extended his greetings to Bahrain leadership, wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity and praising its support to Egypt.
